This is achieved through encouraging individuals to undertake a structured self appraisal and, where appropriate, a combination of individual personality questionnaires, combined with a series of personal coaching sessions. We often encourage our involvement in a 360° process which can bring valuable insight into current skills and possible development areas from the perceptions of others
For those simply needing to stop, take stock of the career and life, assess their priorities and then decide on a preferred career path forward, we will help them to be realistic, identify any development needs to achieve these aims, and create an action plan to plot their next steps
In other instances, the switch from being 'one of the team' to taking the role of ‘leader’ may not be a comfortable move at first. Our senior Consultant team can provide objective, external input with a positive approach and suggested strategies to overcome any teething troubles in adapting to the new demands, responsibilities and required behaviours
The content of any 'programme' is tailored to the individual concerned and is usually subject to an initial 'diagnostic' meeting to understand the required outcome, agree on the relevant elements to be covered and assign a suitable on-going Consultant
