Our Staff all undergo intensive training in Consulting skills to fully underpin their experience and skills base

John Newman

John, founder and Chairman of Hurst Associates, had substantial experience in Senior General Management roles in subsidiaries of both British and American companies before extending his track record of achievement in Business Management to a fifteen year spell as Managing Director in the International Electronics Industry

John undertakes Career Transition Consultancy and Coaching work with executives - from a broad range of employment arenas - at the highest levels of seniority. His background of business acumen, coupled with his sensitive dealings with people, provides individuals working with him with a rich source of ideas, insight and sound judgement

Resolving job change and, particularly identifying  and addressing career development, are issues of driving interest to him

Malcolm Davis

Co-founder and Executive Vice Chairman of Hurst Associates, Malcolm works with Senior Individuals from a wide variety of Public and Private Sector employees. Psychometric Training and Qualification enhance his ability to guide individuals through appraisal of career options towards Career Development and Action Planning

Malcolm had substantial experience in Broadcast Engineering with the BBC before extending his achievements to Human Resource Senior Selection and Recruitment processes. As a Senior Manager Malcolm designed, created and operated the BBC's Career and Career Transition services, which are still central to the Corporation's programs for supporting staff faced with career change
