About the Course
This intensive, two-day programme brings a fun, fresh, practical, no nonsense approach to managing people and dealing appropriately with difficult/challenging behaviours. It offers participants the opportunity to learn skills that will build self-confidence to deal with the realities of contemporary management. The use of professional actors adds an extra dimension and interest to the activity
Method of delivery:
Practice based exercises and discussions in small and large groups. Actors join the delegates for the second day
Outcomes:
By the end of the course participants will have had the opportunity to:
- Define and consider the essential ingredients of effective leadership; communication; and self-projection
- Consider the importance of developing positive and constructive working relationships in order to maximise potential
- Examine experiences and styles of constructive feedback.
- Explore the art of focus, the importance of clarity and authority in their management practice
- Practice planning and intervention skills that are direct and unambiguous
