Harassment & Bullying
Hurst undertakes a variety of projects within the category of Harassment and Bullying. The work we do is determined by the unique circumstances in each situation
Key to a successful intervention is to address the potential escalation of a situation before the protagonists get too entrenched. Accusations of bullying and harassment create difficult situations for everyone involved, as well as for those on the periphery. We understand that the impacts on the morale and effectiveness of the people affected can be far-reaching – both in personal and business terms, but pretending that the situation will sort itself out or go away is usually unrealistic
We have successfully intervened with situations of conflict between individuals and within teams and have delivered a number of tailored group activities which have reinforced in-house policies to encourage anti-Harassment and Bullying working environments
A particular speciality is to run 1 – 3 day training courses for internal ‘champions’ who need awareness of the legal and organisation-specific regulations and policies together with the personal skills to undertake this strategic role
